All the tracks on the album were written and co- produced by Ellie Goulding and the majority were recorded in a converted barn in Ellie' s hometown in the Hay Valley, West England with producer Jim Elliot ( Kylie I Ladyhawke). Goulding previewed the album with the release of a cover version of the Active Child song " Hanging On", which features Tinie Tempah, as a free download on her SoundCloud page on 10 July.
On 3 August, Goulding released a trailer on YouTube containing snippets of tracks from the album, including " Anything Could Happen". Goulding appeared on Fearne Cotton' s BBC Radio 1 show on 9. " Love Me like You Do" is a song recorded by English singer Ellie Goulding for the soundtrack to the film Fifty Shades of Grey ( ).
The song was written by Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Tove Lo, Max Martin and Ali Payami; the latter two also produced it.
